This Estate Grown Kona Coffee comes in whole beans as dark or medium roast.
The dark roast creates a strong, rich flavor and is popular for Espresso and French Press brewing. The aroma of this dark roast is unmistakable. Roasted all the way to the second crack, the beans are a dark brown color with an oily surface. It gives you a strong coffee flavor without being overly bitter.
The medium roast is preferred by Kona coffee connoisseurs. Roasted just past the first crack, the beans are a chocolate brown color with very little oil on the surface. The unique character of Kona coffee comes through best with a medium roast, enhancing the delicate fruity taste that makes Kona coffee so special.
